exhaust project #1: "loopy" part two

I've made some progress on the muffler. the core section has been welded. poorly. it will be strong enough to hold it together though. the images are pretty self explanatory. but just in case... in the first you see the bronze wool around the perforated tubing, then the ceramic fiber fill going in and then finished and placed in the case.

 The remaining welds will all be visible so i want to get some practice with the welder before i attempt them. keep in mind the purpose of this project (besides curiosity and serving as a learning experience) is to have a performance muffler that looks like a stock muffler on the outside.
